Yuantian Biotechnology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was founded in October 2022, which focuses on technology R&D and commercial application of enzymatic recycling of waste PET plastics.

The company’s R&D team is mainly from the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University, including talents in many fields such as enzyme engineering, genetic engineering, chemical engineering and biological information. The team has presided more than 30 scientific research projects and owned over 20 authorized patents. Yuantian has established bio-manufacturing platform and tonnage pilot incubation base in Tianjin, equipped with a tonnage automatic fermentation system, pilot reactor and pilot product purification system. In cooperation with a number of enterprises, through the enzyme protein directed evolution, new immobilized enzyme technology development, biocatalysis process strengthening and other technology integration and innovation, Yuantian has realized the low-cost tonnage fermentation production of more than 10 kinds of enzymes and the large-scale production of high value-added biochemical products.
